Project A

• Part of a small team that used Django, React to implement features surrounding a web-based data processing tool for a major oil company. It was used for cost-projection to allow more efficient collaboration between users across the globe as they previously performed these tasks by exchanging files over email..
• API/Frontend Development, permission management (back-end), oAuth integration with Microsoft Graph API, support ticket system, Data engineering (pandas) to process inputs, parse files (csv, excel) into Django database models, optimized queries to lessen load on database, general code maintenance (periodic frontend and backend dependency updates), user support, automated testing QA, code reviews.
• Was left as the sole maintainer of the project after the initial phase was delivered wherein I handled communications with the client and their internal IT, aside from engineering work.
• Led a small team in development of a major feature to establish connections with the client’s large database and transform data for use in the application.

Project B: Worked with a team of engineers to create a web application for an NFT marketplace builder.

• Part of a small team (~6) that used Django, React, NextJS, web3, solidity, to create a marketplace builder for users to sell NFTs.
• API/Frontend Development, permission management, Invites system, NFT airdrops, lazy minting logic on the app backend, optimized database queries in Django, API Documentation website, created scripts to automate generation of static documentation deployed to documentation site upon changes in the API codebase, integration with 3rd party services, smart contract revisions, automated testing, QA, code reviews

Project C: Targeted Advertising

• Handled the entire API/backend codebase and related DevOps infrastructure in a small team that utilized Django with GCP to create a custom API for a client frontend application. Data transformations were done on GCP in order to establish audience categories, and consumed by the API to allow users to push custom audiences on Meta and DV360 (Google) Advertising platforms.
• Primary Tech Used: Django, GCP, DV360, Meta Ad platform APIs.

Project D Web, Data Engineering:

• Worked with a team of ~12 engineers located in different parts of the world on software used by a large oil company to manage and predict price variations on SKUs sold and shipped to customers. - - Worked on frontend, backend, DevOps, and data-related aspects of the project. Used multiple AWS services (Lambda (NodeJS), Athena, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Scheduler, Cloudfront, among others).
• Headed a sub-team (4 engineers) and communicated heavily with clients, PMs, other team members with respect to different needs for development, most notably, initiated focus sessions with clients to better scope out needs and specifics for certain feature requests.
• Features involved with: Permissions management, role management, modular multi-step approvals system, notifications system, web-based spreadsheet features, modifications of existing features

NGO

• AI Development using multiple technologies: LLMs, RAG, computer vision, etc, for a complex system involving multiple AI agents and machine learning workflows. Features involved with:
• Small pipeline for face and facial landmark detection
• Framework for synthetic personas and profiles: Worked on research, design, implementation of a framework for generating synthetic character profiles. Used scientific concepts and papers where possible as basis for design decisions. Framework also involves using a graph database and vector store for efficient semantic matching of profiles for business needs.
• Light prototyping of agentic workflows for social media activity and decision-making

Developed a support dashboard used to display and track support ticket information and resolution progress.

Did research on mathematical-models to predict thermoelectric performance of materials
